I found this and just had to put it up as today's post.
Because I'm amazed how God has answered this prayer.
[I WROTE THIS THREE YEARS AGO. when i literally didn't have any one i could trust.]

one day I will be standing against the wall,
and not feel alone.
because they will come.
and he will grab my hand,
and she'll grab my arm.
and she'll say
"ready?"
and we'll run off.
and be the best of friends.
we will ACTUALLY have conversations.
they'll start with
serious topics.
and end with us
rolling on the floor.
he will be my favorite.
she will be my best friend.
and before we leave each other's presence
we will KNOW that God was glorified in what we said and did.

And we will act like idiots.
and not care.
and we will make fools of ourselves.
and not care.
and we will cry.
and not care.

and we will fight.
and we will get angry.
but it's not friendship
unless you go through the crap.

but we will make it through.

and we will glorify God.



now, that's horrible writing. but i think it's amazing that after eight years of praying for exactly this, i've found it.
